Two words: motor pacing.

There was a comparison on Cyclingporn yesterday. At that speed he can ride away from the entire peloton and win Liege Bastogne Liege by himself and have 4kmh to spare

That uci test must be close

I’d love to know who flagged his ride.

In short: A knob. He was being paced by a scooter in some places, but I suspect it’s somebody who is trying to be funny. The guys who’s KOMs he takes actually seem to like it... Uh Oh, Chris Froome just took your KOM. I’d print that email and frame it!

THANK YOU!!!!!

I heard this version on the radio and tried to Shazam it but it couldn't find the songs.

Then spent hours on Youtube looking for it, and settled that it must have been the Distrurbed version, but its been bugging me for months, and here you post it... my word!

Brilliant brilliant version!

Have you heard the Disturbed version of Sound of Silence? In my opinion it is better than Simon & Garfunkels' original. At first I didn't think he had the right voice for it, but from about 2 minutes in I changed my mind completely! But then, I was always more partial to metal and rock, rather than the sweet boy sound. Enjoy!

I've always liked The Awakening's cover. Back in that boom time of SA rock...

Mucking about? Riding 17.86kms to work and back is hard work!!!

While I love a good opportunity to ****myself up on a bike - I'm a little nervous of Munga. I'm not sure I could balance my desire to do well with my desire to live, and I might end up in a very dark and lonely place. It's on my list, but way way down near the bottom...

Colonel is back as John Wakefield ;)

I say Minty post something the other day, on here, and on twitter.

I haven't seen the others about in ages :(

CAPE TOWN RESIDENTS ONLY

I have let SAPS know that we're going to have a protest march to Parliament every Monday & Friday.

They in turn have promised to use water canons to disperse us.

Bring your own soap, shampoo and towels. Cape Town residents only!

As received...

I probably shouldn't be laughing at that.

So this is a genuine question. There is an advert on the radios up here about saving water and one of the things they say is keep showers to 90 seconds. Now I am sure you cape town guys have these sort of things down to a fine art. Let me know how I can complete and entire shower in 90 seconds as when I am down there for argus I will need to do my best to save water. I probably take 90 seconds just to adjust the water temp in the shower. Where else can we look to save? I am sure there are simple things that we don't even think about that saves water. The toilet flushing is obvious but what else can I do to not annoy the locals that already hate me for riding a bike?
