Yeah, but I *think* the conditions favoured the H2R to be honest. Either that, or launch control on the f1 car wasn't working so lekka.

H2R is a frikkin rocketship, though.

It probably favored the jet most as that as the only vehicle not relying on traction.

Over that type of distance F1 cars are slower than the MotoGP bikes. Its only because of the F1 cars drag. On the same tracks, F1 cars often have lower top ends than the bikes, even though they come out the corners faster and brake later than the bikes.

Doesn't matter what type of brakes the dude had, the quick release lever that went into his leg is basically the same on rim brake wheels? I read some of the thousands of comments and Colin reckons its because when you bump the "sharp" end it doesn't move. I have seen some rim brake QR levers so tight they also won't move if bumped. I paged down the guys twitter feed and I see he rides a disk brake bike himself, so he wasn't too concerned about the safety aspect when he bought the bike.

Whats next...

"Disc brake bike riders get knocked over by truck"

Honestly, the desire to create headlines is a tiring.

I guess the shine from the material in the disk distracted the truck driver and like a crow he went for the shiny thing.
