Skid marks on your shammy

No apology required and I'm not offended at all(the name change suggestion was quite funny as well), I can understand that the truth might hurt some fellow hubbers but it is a genuine issue for some cyclists.

Dude you ROCK!

Leave your shorts out in the sun and let them dry out. The skid marks will become flaky and you can brush them off easily. The more ingrained, stubborn ones are a different story. Fold the shorts along the seam, shammy side out and jam the exposed shammy inbetween your molars. Then grind the stubborn stain out, stopping regularly to spit out the soggy flakes. I find this works best for me. Good luck!

Scotchgard your Chamois. Like teflon for fabrics. Not much sticks..............depending on what you ate. I'm told that the worst kind of skid marks are from koeksisters................

Now where is an Omo rep when you need help...... :D

Really enjoyed this thread. Thanks for all the laughs!!

Is it AG2R that rides with brown cycling shorts ? Try those. Avoid doing your

no. 2 in those temp toilets at the start.

Hi Janneman69

Your problem sounds like a very simple bike setup problem.

Try lowering your seat a bit.

If that does not work, then another simple fix is to buy yourself a pair of Assos Bib Shorts.

Besides the Integrated Crotch Cooler/Warmer - ICCWTM, it has a special Anti Skid and Smudge coating - ASSTM, fabulous colour coded stitching and a really smart logo.

Go to Cajees Fourways. Tell them I sent you, they will give you GOOD discount.

Sincerely

Your Style Guru

And don't forget to floss!
