American Swiss has some black Friday specials. But it seems like the really good deals are already sold out. Maybe worth it to contact your local store to see if they have stock.

The battery on my Citizen Aqualand Diver Depth Meter Promaster just went again. Used to hand it in myself at Citizen in Jhb, but I fly/visit Gauteng less frequently these days.

Anyone know where in the Southern peninsula I can have it serviced with a pressure test?

thx

This...if you are going to be using the Promaster as it was intended (diving) then you will want to know that it has been tested and certified by the manufacturer with calibrated instruments...

Thx .... Will send it back up to Citizen in Gauteng. It’s still the only watch I use for scuba. One day when I venture deeper than 20m I’ll upgrade to something more tech

G-SHOCK kind of day[emoji3]

Those G shocks seem OK...my previous employer always used to wear one and it suffered the abuse of the factory... hands and arms in cutting fluid and hydraulic oil and crap and shrapnel flying off mills and lathes...

Plus the batteries don't just die. They slowly wind down and you can see when they skip seconds.Might be the PCB.My Tissot just did that and needed a new PCB or whatever they call it.
