Hope this is the right topic to ask this question.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 25, and my straps have broken. I have repaired them with glue but it's a temporary fix.

I can't seem to find straps locally from reputable dealers.

If I look at the straps for the 220/235/620/630/735 they all use the same strap which looks the same.

I've tried to go to a physical store to look at the band's but can't find stock. Can get the 220 strap from Takealot but I don't want to buy something if it won't fit.

Does anyone have a 220/235/620/735 and can take a photo of the measurements of the strap (width and width where the bolt goes through to connect to the watch.)

My 25's strap

the strap for the 220 etc.

I’ve bought a strap for my 735XT, twice, on Takealot. It’s not the original, but it’s compatible.

Anyone know what is the best brand battery to get for a Citizen Promaster diver's watch? Or what brand the manufacturer used as initial battery?

CITIZEN PROMASTER AQUALAND WR 200MT JP1010-51E

It takes a 3V  CR2016, but the watch is very sensitive to voltage drop. Moment it goes below 2.8V the watch low battery indicator starts - (second hand moves 2s every 2s instead 1 x 1)

Think I replaced it with Panasonic the last time. It lasted only a year.

Energiser seems to be a good choice, but would prefer to use the manufacturers default brand?

Hi Eddie , did you eventually come right with this ?

Thx, I did. I replaced it with an Energizer, and seems fine for now. If it falls below the required minimum voltage (2.8V) within the year, I'll try a Renata battery next.

Renata and Maxell seems to be the default battery used by most watchmakers?

I had the Energizer battery on hand though, and just went with it for now.

i will send you a PM, I know a guy (not in pta) but in JHB who I trust fully!

Could you perhaps send me his number too? Going through some boxes and I found my Grandfathers Omega from 1969. Not really my style and the date isn't working so I would like to check and see what it would cost to refurbish before I decided what to do with it.

Thanks!
