Right by the Spar? If so, the ongoing construction work is to much.

I feel super crap.  My wife got me a hand grinder, and she thought it was a quality product.

One of these, but just a shiitty SA sold product form bid or buy

So I tried it once and the thing fell apart.  The seller being south African said we can send it back, but we will have to pay for the replacement.

So last week I decided to give it another go.  Beans in, tune it for a finer grind and start grinding...  Nothing but coarse grounds.  Gave it another go.  Same result.  The to my horror when I pulled out the drawer, there was a piece of white ceramic in between the Coffee grounds.

So it seems that this twatter glues the ceramic parts together.  On close inspection it broke on seams.  So I am not 100% sure if the person tried to pull a few fast ones, but my wife was caught.

So that evening I had to inform the wife that the birthday presents she got me last year, were all shiitt (The coffee cups were broken when I took them out of the box as well)

So that would be the 2nd broken coffee grinder this year.  (My Russel Hobbs burr grinders motor stopped working and made a fair bit of smoke)

Not to be funny but I find their coffee vile... Been there a few times and been disappointed each time...

Running a 80 rand moka pot from Checkers. Liking the coffee so far. Will def turn the heat down feom now on. The lid was opened a bid and coffee went everywhere. What is better on a more expensive pot?

The basket - you get fewer fines in the coffee - and the overpressure safety valves work.

Got to start somewhere. I started with Ricoffee so you doing better than me

Thanks, I stopped all caffeine for quite a few years because of the children so only really started drinking tea and coffee again after that. Never really liked strong coffee so still prefer the milder ones.
