Glad to be back and with it a new toy Not the best machine but a good way to get back into things. Bought a shorter stem and wider bars to start with. Will upgrade groupo and brakes soon hopefully, and then slap a 140mm fork on the front. IMG_1665.PNGWhat I did for the Banshee (see attached poor night time in the garage pics) worked, but I am going to do a version 2.0 with a "shield" like that as some dirt is getting over my current design. I used a 3l milk bottle as it was pliable, yet rigid enough, and it was easy to trace the profile of the frame with it being translucent. v2.0 will also be a black bucket This has certainly protected the bearings though! Need to fashion something for the Meta like that. but has to move through the travel for some reason there is a massive hole for cable entry into the BB area but no drainage hole. T-Bob Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Would like to see what solution you come up withI've got a couple of options, one is to make a mudguard thing that can move and the second is more of a foam/ latex plug with routing for the cables. At the moment I just have 2 bits of a foam pan scrubber in there that kinds of works. Pink bike 'ask an expert' recommended drilling a hole in the bb. Not sure I'm that brave.

I did see that neoprene one on the Comm' site and thought it was the answer until it said 'not suitable for V4 AM' so back the the plastic and cable ties! I did find solution online but there has to be something a bit simpler.
