Kinda feels like you are just watching the same slomo shot over and over again for 9mins haha. But I guess that's the nature of road cycling.

Looks like it'll be an awesome trip though, enjoy!

Road cycling is very different to MTB. But it's still loads of fun and a great way to see the countryside.

Next year I'm back in Morz for sure tho.

Cycle Technix

Or from SportsWorld which will be easier for you ChrisF considering you live in Bellville.

Same price. Also wanting to invest in one.

Or make your own. There is a thread about it, complete with templates.

I bought a sheet of 2mm plastic (the ones they use for Truck mudguards, tough but pliable) from Maizey Plastics.

Cost me a few Rands for the sheet, but I have made at least 10 sets already for myself and friends, both front and rear guards.

I've made them out of various plastic containers. It is easy, it costs nothing, you recycle, it only takes a few minutes and they are sturdier than the one I bought.

next ones will be made of these, but I now have a template

Yeah also made this rear mud guard out of a plastice bucket. Works great.

Won't that cause mud to pack in there as opposed to only around the frame if not used?

What is the purpose of mounting it there as I cannot see it stopping mud or water from being flung up onto your back?

Just asking cause I have never considered one on the rear...
