hows the sizing tho, inline with general sizing on jerseys and shorts?

Shorts I can't comment on. Here I wear a L shirt, both these are L and the fit is the same.

And ventilation is great, wind always go through the shirt only enough to not sweat a lot. I bought a pair of (Non GMBN) baggies for cycling over there and I had to go a size bigger, it's got removable inner with a pad but legs didn't fit through too lekker. Edited October 23, 2020 by BSG

Or a shower cap, or a Frisbee with a slit cut in it. Or any piece of thin piece of plastic really. This one below looks like it could work as well.
