I can't see such a massive torque being applied to the pedal axle, or such a large axial force, that you'd strip the threads completely. Shipping was free because of a special but generally their shipping is reasonable especially if you get a few orders together - they allowed me (or anyone) to mix the colours of the cage and pulleysI can't say enough about this product, think XX1 in better colours for a little less money. Their chainring options and sizes are unrivalledIf you have a 1 x 11 and your looking for an upgrade, this is it.
