Yes, this is what I meant :).

Those components from Intend are very cool, but also very pricey!

It looks like about a 65/70k± practice to get one here.

We will be Able to order one, but obviously there will be a time restraint. Future services of fork and dial in specialist that will probably lead the fork into a negative(considering it might be better to send it back and forth for all these endeavors to be practiced correctly)light in the future for general use.

Yeah, that is stupidly expensive, more than my entire bike at this point. Thanks, though.

I think I'll stick to my Hyrax for the foreseeable future.

Just finished building this up, second hand frame, cranks and the remainder of the XT groupset I had lying around. Brand new fox factory 38, XT brakes on deore 4 pot calipers, MD 35 wheels. The one up 210mm dropper and the bars came with the frame. I do have an XT cassette but unfortunately was unable to get a microcline freehub for these hubs. I do have some new tyres I will slap on shortly.

Hi everybody.

Has anyone replaced pivot bearings on a OneTen 29 frame recently ?

Mine is due but I would like to purchase the bearings before stripping the bike.

Thanks, John.

EDIT. Any suggestions where to buy decent quality bearings will be appreciated.

So after a couple of good rides in December I decided now is a good time for the "Bearing Job".

I Stripped the bike and disassembled the frame. Removed all the bearings. All the frame parts is already cleaned and some scuffs and scratches polished out.

The new bearings are ordered and should arrive on Monday.

I Will post again when there are more progress.

Out of interest, what is the wear and feel of the old bearings now that you have them out of the frame?

They are quite bad and the movement feels terrible, especially the two bigger ones on the main swingarm pivot.

I Didn't realize how much time has gone by. I Built this bike in November 2018. Since then I have had some health issues and undergone three major surgery's and had a serous head injury a year ago. The combined time the bike was not used in my recovery periods is roughly 30 months.

The shock and fork was serviced a couple of times over the years but this is the first time that I replaced the pivot bearings. I've covered roughly 12000km's with it.
