Ok, so I finally got my frame today!!!

So I can also confirm the Large weighs in at 1.815kg's including the rear axle and cable guides.

Not bad, because it's almost 200g lighter than my Yeti BigTop also Large.

Not sure about the raw finish, but I suppose this will really depend on personal taste and preference. :whistling:

One thing I can confirm, is that the welds are not nearly as neat or nice as my Yeti's or Tomac, they are simply just not nearly as nice...

The actual tubing and general frame design is really hot!!!

I think the headtube sticker is a really stupid idea and looks crappy, it needs a proper badge, a nice cast P or something would have been much better, mine is going to be ripped off, I really hope they design something nice and send out free upgrade kits to us early adopters.

My frame is Serial #005 - kinda cool!!!! :w00t:

Here is a crappy mobile phone pic, build will start later this week, will keep you guys posted on final build and progress.

Probably also going to remove the seat stay decals, they look redundant and out of place.... I think the decals and branding need to go back to the drawing board...

Would have to agree, the seat stay decals do look kinda crappy, the top tube decal looks very cool though.

V, can you maybe take some pics of the welding, top tube and seat stay, or even any close-up shots of the bike? Would like to see more detail as I won't be able to see one in person before buying.

Agree with The V on the welding, the weld of the additional support at the seat/top tube junction is poor and might be fine for painting but not on this bare frame. The fact that it is half ground and half not does not help, would have left the weld visible like elsewhere.

Decals.......mmmm, think they went RAW finish on them too.

Must say, once you start kitting the frame out you do not notice and it is a very nice looking bike. Can't wait to ride mine.

Suppose it always a learning curve with a new product and such a small company.

I'll take some better pics of the welding today, it's not unacceptably bad, it's just no "as-good" as a Yeti or Tomac to which I can directly compare it too.

Do you think you might need a bit more green? hahaha

Nice bike, hope you enjoy it like a tappet loves klippies, cola and ford escort.

I've kinda surrendered to the fact that I wont be able to use my Thomson Silver seat-collar or seatpost, it's just TOO much silver and it doesn't pop. The magnesium Haven wheels and bars are also not WOW...

I'm going to have to change my build to include a black thompson seat-collar, carbon haven seatpost, and carbon haven bars - just to break the raw finish a bit.

was also considering titanium jagwire hoses and housings, but it will be a no-go... going to be bold and do GOLD hoses and housings (totally inspired by Ryanpmb)...

(I hope the mag rims look better when the tires are fitted, because if they don't, i might just have to order those carbon havens... :whistling: )

Nice

A friend of mine is having his PYGA duallie built up now and I have been trying to convince him that gold Hope hubs with a set of flow rims would look far better than the red Hopes he was looking at.
