So I'm ramping up my interval training, and I'm feeling it later in the evening, and the next morning.

So what works to speed up recovery? ice baths, compression garments, glutamine...

I love the idea of sleeping and resting more, but with normal daily life that needs to go on, sometimes it just doesn't work out.

I normally stretch after a ride, but does stretching again later in the day really help?

No. You are more likely to cause an injury by stretching a cold muscle.

i wear compression longs. and either have some hight protein food, (biltong, screambled egg with low GI bread) or take a recovery drink from 32gi.

nothing beats a massage from a nice young lass a'la sani2c....

but found recovery a lot quicker when wearing the compression pants - maybe it's a very successfull snakeoil placebo effect...
