much like avids rollamjig???

If I recall the rollamajig just helped to improve shifting,  according to some 🤔 .... this device changes the cable pull between the shifter and the rear derailleur

Done and dusted 😎

Did a 15k 'suburb and servitude' test and works perfectly, did have to use a hanger extender to be able to shift to the 46 though!

Will do a longer ride Sunday and then it's just to see how the printed 'mullet adapter' holds up over time, I did print it with PETG

Of course now the next possibility .... my other gravel bike has a 10sp shifter but with a 9sp XT derailleur, time to make a similar setup but using a 10 or 11sp CLUTCH derailleur 😃 - just need to find one!

Currently running a Ultegra 6600 Shifter setup with a old SRAM X7 front derailleur and an 9spd Shimano Altus rear derailleur. 11-36 Cassette and some nondescript 2 x Chainring setup of unknown origin.  Shifts perfectly on the tar / smooth gravel, but there is a lot of chain slap as soon as it becomes a bit rough underneath. Would love to fit a clutch rear derailleur to mitigate it a bit.

I might have one for you, in exchange of one of those
mullet adjusters" of yours.

We can talk for sure! Another solution has been put into my head by the Grumpy one though ... more interesting since it'd mean using a SRAM clutch RD but I'm in for solving both 👍

DM me your number and I'll be in touch anyway!

If you have a clutch derailleur I can have a go at solving it for you no problem!

What is that wishbone thing? Is that to actuate the dropper?

I see you're running 1x...... If you really wanted to get smart, take the rachet out of the left hand shifter and use that to actuate the dropper?

Yeah, that’s what it’s for

I believe that’s an option but I think not possible with this shifter, not quite sure tbh

You can definitely remove the little rachet grabber from that shifter.

It's a sweet build, enjoy!

I am going to do this. Few simple questions please:

1. I have a 105 road groupset - can I use it as is for the conversion on my 10 speed XT MTB? Meaning, replace everything from XT to 105 incl the cassette - I cannot think why it would not work. On a gravel handlebar of course.

2. Can I simply replace my XT hydraulic brakes with mechanicals and will the 105 mechanical shifter be able to do the job?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys. When doing this conversion in terms of Sram components. My hardtail currently runs 11s Sram groupset. I’m trying to keep the current bike and components as much as possible so ideally I only want to put on drop handlebars. Not gonna do a rigid fork or anything else.

i have a Sram X01 mtb rear derailleur. If I were to put on some drop handlebars, would this derailleur be compatible with Sram Apex or Rival?

In terms of brakes, I’m thinking of just keeping my current suspension fork as is. Would an Apex or Rival brake mount fit on my hardtail or is there something I need to do to make it happen?
