Brad did an incredible job. Like I said the Suzies will be very difficult to stop. Great day for the KTMs and a terrible day for Yamaha

Pity Alex binned it. it would have been an interesting last couple of laps. BB was flying. fastest lap of the race..

I did some quick calculations for the past 10 years (so there might be some finger errors, but the point remains).

 

After 13 Rounds, the eventual winner of the Championship had this many points:

 

2011 = 259

2012 = 245

2013 = 253

2014 = 289

2015 = 224

2016 = 223

2017 = 199

2018 = 246

2019 = 229

2020 = 162

 

Just shows what a tumultuous year we've had with 9 different winners so far, and not one rider really dominating.

It seems he was doing better than we thought but went off because of Crutchlow's off. I think the cameras missed that.

 

Brad Binder:

“The race started OK but I got a bit boxed-in through the first two-three corners. I didn’t want to take too much of a risk with the full fuel tank and I knew the Long Lap penalty was coming early on. As soon as I did it I dropped down the order and worked to catch back up but then Cal Crutchlow crashed in front of me and I had to run off the track! I lost a few more seconds that lap. The comeback was not bad. I felt good and the bike worked really well today. Even when the tires were used we could keep the same lap-times. It was a shame about the result because we had the pace for much better but I’m really happy and I think we can do a good job next weekend.”

Crazy news in that Lorenzo may get Ianonne's seat if he is not allowed to race.
I for one hope it happens.
Would mean Cal is out, more than likely to go a be a test rider at Yamaha.

 

It means Dovi is having a sabbatical, which basically means he is done it would seem.
