EISH!

the road going from Paar towards the finish is narrower than the 99er back roads with no yellow line....plus short route joining up with long route.

Do not know why the organizers cannot learn from other peoples mistakes, this is def a no go and think insurance companies will start excluding certain races with logic like this. :cursing:  :whistling:

This race always use to be my fav race.

P.S - Please read the route before entering!!

Your favourite.. You won SV last year SR?

Can we have a gravel section to start and finish with please? I was thinking why not start from the gravel road inside the Boschendal estate and then end there as well?

Another option would be, because the road from Paarl to Pniel will be really unsafe thanks to the poor road condition, traffic (trucks, busses, etc) as well as sharing the road with the short route riders, to force us to ride on the gravel next to the road.

There is a "cycling path" of some sort on the left of the road in the F/Hoek direction.

Cyclist are obliged by law to use these paths. Maybe they must enforce this law during the race.

Will it satisfy you guys? :whistling:

hahahaha!!! will 80plus ouens op daai paaitjie sien, en dan moet jy nog iemand op n david kramer dikwiel bicycle kry ook opad plaas toe!!!!!!! hahahahaha  :D

Was considering doing this race to put some more time in on my loan Argus road bike and check the set up, but, as with all road riding it is sounding dangerous. Reading all this has put me in two minds - maybe safer to ride 80km in th ePaarl mountains on Sat and live another day. Narrow roads with sunday traffic....not so much hey.

For some reason I've been punted from lowly G up to B in the recent seeding... I'm sure that's a mistake but it's going to be interesting for my first 'gday' to the pointy end.

Hi... welcome... tear you apart on the climb and leave you to solo the rest of the race. ;)

Ps: now I'm up that way do I have to shave?
