I'm wondering if this shop will survive. Refunding customers is the way to go BUT only if you have the money. Rent can't be cheap in that centre and I'm not sure how much of the super profits were used to pay operating expenses. Making normal profits may not be enough to sustain the business. Maybe they will move down Cedar road to the intersection where you turn right to Northern Farm.

Surely it would have been in their best interest to sort Mr Armstrong out first and get this thread closed.

Maybe that way they could salvage what's left of their reputation.

Agreed but many hubbers will avoid this shop like the bubonic plague from now and they only have themselves to blame !

No sympathy here they trying to too little too late if you ask me .... my 2cents worth ...

Hope they sort Andrew out quick quick !!

cash refund in hand would be first prize

Then its the shops problem to get their name out of the crap, how they would do this... hell knows!!

I would check every note carefully just to be sure it didn't start its life in a copier! ;)

A refund is one thing. They have actually broken the law so will have to answer to authorities other than the OP and other clients. If Pinarello are suing them I fear that the OPs rants are the least of their problems. SARS might be knocking on their door too.

Kind of like an hour penalty for cutting 5 metres.

Ive had dealings with SARS before, they are not very pleasant people.

The air that surrounds them says, your money is our money and our money is also ours...

The experience is a bit vague still but I think they stopped just short of my spleen looking for money and things I own.

Good luck with those wolves

My first add to this thread.

What a kick to the nuts, AA. Sorry man.

Broadacres is in an area were money flows so why go down the path of grey imports, fakes, etc? that blows my mind.

I will be shopping else were. there are many smaller LBS that can use my money better.

the thing that gets me is there are a couple of places that you can get a chinarelo if you want one without importing it your self, the fact that a LBS sells one is beyond me.

They may only be able to afford rent there next to that bottle store...

Truth be told I'd rather own that bottle store, its a goldmine in that area

Hehe, I have often thought that the turnover there must be quite healthy

an LBS selling one is one thing (unbranded that is) but selling it as an original Pinarello is another thing all together

I have heard that a refund was made to a Cycle Science Chinarello customer in the last 24hrs.

Damp squib, red herrings and now a fake refund?

Looks like your insider info from "Robbie and John" is a weak as their business principles. What's your connection to Cycle Psychos?

Saw the word ‘refund’ on The Hub, logged in but nothing yet. Which goes to show that the squeakiest wheel only gets the most oil if it’s genuine and not a cheap knock off? I am very pleased for the person getting the refund who called to thank me. He too was initially threatened with legal fire and brimstone; oh how the (genuine) wheel turns :) Will let you know if I am refunded.

You should sell your movie rights to this saga and make millions, it has more twists than an epic single track!
