Watched the outsider the other day. An american basically ends up helping a yakuza boss, and he starts to become his right hand man. Was not too bad.

lolwut? i think you have your series in parallel :P

Some good skop, skiet, en donner moments. But overall pretty dissapointing for me.

Netflix in my experience makes some good series, but average movies. I don't know why, but very few tick the boxes for me despite having a good cast.

I have yet to see a good movie on Netflix. Tried this Thorbo meets Mumbo extraction...apart from the scenery and some action it was pretty much like every other Netflix movie...way below average.

Note: I haven’t seen the Irishman yet, and I’m not sure if a I can commit 3 hours to a Netflix movie.

Got these two saved up for a rainy, lazy day rewatch, which today happens to be.8ef473ef0ba25e6448e0a7cbf5f2c167.jpg2e456e1bf99e0c244e2475c457e20dce.jpg

We watched this (again) on the weekend. We have it on DVD.

It is an excellent movie, enjoyed the acting and special effects considering the age of the movie. And like all good movies should be, it was great entertainment. Not to mention having the songs in your head for a while. And your daughter wanting to build a flying car.

Also watched extraction...10 million gun fights...5000 fights over guns....a few heartfelt moments with the whole "memory of the child" scenes ripped straight from gladiator. Meh

I quite enjoyed it for what it was: a lekker 'Skop, Skiet & Donner' fliek, but I kept thinking that there was quite a

I got 1 hour into Irishman. It was torture.

It did feel a bit like 5 day cricket, but its more about telling the story, than the story itself.

I watched 'Once upon a time in Hollywood' - nothing really seems to happen (apart from that one scene), but its how nothing happens that was great to watch.

also cant't find anything decent on Netflix. Some good series, but very thin on movies. Was hoping for some more non mainstream stuff but nada.
