Dr Scott reported that the patient was slightly overweight, that he developed shortness of breath and started perspiring during the examination and he suggested a series of return visits over an extended time to see if my condition will improve. He noted with approval, a little weight loss since the previous visit.

*just make damn sure you wear sunscreen if you do this during summer.

*just make damn sure you don't catch the six if you do this to go watch the cricket

Personal experience?

Had a mate based in London, who wanted to do a long weekend in Spain or some other warm place and couldn't get the leave. He faked illness the Thursday and Friday but ended up getting horribly sun burnt and come in Monday looking like a greek god. I think he still blagged his way out of it

:DI used to go flyfishing on 1 September every year when the Cape streams open after the closed winter season and I always crossed the day out in my work diary by writing in large red letters HYDROTHERAPY. It took my staff about 5 years to work up the courage to ask what kind of treatment I was going for. :D

We used to leave the office at 3 once every other week and ride the spruit.

Now I'm scared of "insulting C&C's sport", so I guess that's over. From now on I only ride on "real trails".

Hmm, as an employer I would take a dim view of the employee if I found out I was lied to.

I would much rather have someone come and say "Hay, I have been working hard, can I have the afternoon off to relax and clear my mind" I may not agree or like it but I would far prefer that honesty prevails in my business.
