I did this - the best part of a CD is the front cover, and in a rack you don't get to see it.  Took me a weekend, but it makes a real conversation starter when people come to visit...

I’m embarrassed to admit this but I still have ‘doubles’ in my CD collection of albums where I saw a cover in a store and went ‘Damn, that’s a good album, I should get that…’ only to get home and discover I already have it but only ever saw the spine…

 

Now, when I see copies of albums I love on sale or special, I buy them anyway so I have spares for when they disappear completely, especially South African music…
