HP28S - a whopping 28kb worth of RAM. And programmable.

I used it all through University in the '90's.  We learnt very quickly how to maximise the use of those 28kb's!

When I went back to study in 2011, the rules had changed in the exam notes from "No Programmable Calculators" to "No Laptops, Tablets or Cellphones allowed"  So I brought in my old 28S and the invigilators were so amused by what they saw as something akin to an abacus, they didn't even bat an eyelid....

Robot to robot dicing at Ray's Roadhouse, Vermeulen Street, Pretoria.  The Ford Fairlane 500 never stood a chance against the Gordini. These were real good days.

Had a GORDINI in the early 70s.

Painted a matt black bonnet stripe across the front, to make it go faster!

Man, 2 fuel tanks, loved that car. Had a friend with a Cooper S, who I used to clean up regularly, till he drove my Gordini and I drove his Cooper and he popped a gudgeon pin!!!!!!

I was a student, so no $ to fix it, man I cried.

I have pictures of my R10 and my Fiat 600 ABarth, but none of my Gordini

Hi Uni, go on bidorbuy and buy some note holders for those beauties. Will protect them for many, many years. Randburg Coins sells them too

I was thinking if I should store them a bit better, some of the newer ones are mint condition, not a bad idea, tx Ed.
