Another fatal accident

Just seen on twitter about 2 hours ago a taxi took out a cyclist and sadly he has lost his life. Took place in edenvale on or near van riebeeck road by the golfers club shop. Im thinking its near to builders express/crossover the N12 highway. Whether he be a avid cyclist or commuter he was on a bicycle and may he RIP.

When are these taxis going to be reigned in? I'm so sick of seeing this sort of cr~p in the news.

 

Taxis kill people from all walks of life and at some point, the "powers that be" need to take some sort of decisive action. Even if they were all new and roadworthy, the way they are driven contributes almost daily towards lives being lost.
