Got an SMS to say 1400 Discovery miles have been loaded to my account for last week's exercise. I'm impressed. I was sure there would be a limit lower than that to how many miles I would be given. So I presume you can get the full 2100 if you want (7x300) or maybe even more if you're on the endurance option?

I'm on the Endurance Option and I'm still getting my normal points on my IDT. One hour with HR above 70% = 300 points.

it’s also 300 points for us normal folk at 70% for an hour.

 

You should be getting 600 points for a 2 hour plus ride at 70% or more, or 450 for a 90-119 min ride.

Anybody else hit with some erroneous interest charges on their Discovery Bank Credit cards?

 

For some reason they under collected about R240 by debit order on 25 April for my March closing balance, and I got charged R100.something in interest retroactively at the end of March, and now another R110.something at the end of April. WTF?

 

(already queried it with them, but just curious to see if anyone else has the same issue)

Did anyone else not get their Healthy Living cash back for April? Mine usually comes around 23rd of the month, and still nothing. I definitely did have enough qualifying spend

Mine usually comes in between the 6th and the 10th of the month, so it should be due soon.

20/03 was the last payment received for cash backs. Will wait for the next run around the same date in May before querying.

Just got off the phone with them. It took 25 minutes of holding to be told that there are Healthy Food and Healthy Care amounts owed to me for April and they will log a query to find out why it wasn't paid...not holding thumbs though, I logged a different query 6 weeks ago about why my pension document wasn't acknowledged, thus pulling my money status from silver down to bronze...still no response or action.

 

It's actually ridiculous that you can't mail them or at least request a call back.
