Frosty Posted May 25, 2018 Share Capture.PNG Thanks Dinesh. How about a discount in gym fees or Vitality membership, Dinesh?I got the same mail for 89 weeks.I’m on 126 consecutive weeks and haven’t received any communication from them. Not that it bothers me, as long as they keep funding devices/shoes. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkReceived my email today, which I suspect is just that... an email. shaper Posted May 26, 2018 Share Also got the same email for 128 weeks, and ya is just an email with no links to anything special or discounted. At least I can refer to it with Discovery health if there is every a query from them on my health status Traveler and Frosty
Kerchak Posted May 27, 2018 Share Hi Who has used the discount on flights? According to their website one can only claim discount after 3 months joining vitality. Considering joining Vitality. The discount on Quantas fligts looks like it is worthwile. Besides the 3 months waiting period, are there any other T&C I should be aware off? Usual discount on kulula including Flight Booster (just paid into my account last week). Earlier this year booked ticket to Sydney on Quantas...was silly cheap after my discount on Diamond status. Think less than R8k if memory serves. Can't think of any warnings off the top of my head. Edited May 27, 2018 by travisza Kerchak

Neverfit Posted May 28, 2018 Share I had to re-link my Polar watch with the Disco app this week, and received a notification that Polar's support for uploads will be terminated end 2019. Does anyone else have some info on this...By the look of it, I will have to change to Garmin, or whoever remains supported and accepted, in order to accumulate the training points. Bosbrommer Posted June 5, 2018 Share So I recently noticed that none of the Garmin cycling units on the Sportsmans Warehouse website contains the Vitality Icon on the picture anymore. I asked Discovery about this and apparently Garmin Cycling Units do not qualify for the healthy gear benefit anymore? Was this communicated somewhere? Somehow I clearly missed this vital piece of info. Attached is a response from Sportsmans themselves. Thx. On the Sportsman's Warehouse catalogue, on the Disco website - https://www.discovery.co.za/discovery_coza/web/linked_content/pdfs/vitality/healthygear/healthygear_sportsmans_catalogue.pdf My 735XT is a wrist-based HR device, and doesn't come bundled with a HR strap. Bosbrommer Posted June 5, 2018 Share I was hoping the device booster also counts towards Garmin Edge units. Clearly not. Traveler Posted June 6, 2018 Share I've experienced a frustrating issue with Vitality points and none of the "specialists" at Vitality seems to get the problem I've been trying to explain that Vitality does not register Indoor Cycling on Suunto to allocate points. Nearly half of the call centre agents explain to me that I have to understand that Discovery only accepts data from a select list of fitness equipment, and then tell me that Suunto is one of them (and I am using Suunto). Using a Suunto Spartan, all sport modes will earn you the 300 points or 450 points (elite fitness) for >80% HR over 30 minutes; except for Indoor Cycling. I am using a Power Meter, HR meter & Cadence Sensor - But Vitality sees the training file as "unconfirmed", because according to their system I edit the file after training, which I do not need to do. I have now mailed them .3dp files, .fit files and .tcx files, but they just do not get the problem. So now, I use my Ambit to record the training as Circuit Training, sync the Ambit to earn my Vitality points and then Sync the Spartan as Indoor Cycling to get the info into Movescount and Training Peaks. Any thoughts?

Just went to check. All the straps except this one has the Vitality icon. Doesn't make sense...
