Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 just watch the reward eating for all the riding dont be the dog Nope, no rewards. Yesterday I had my one and only "cheat" meal - which was a boerewors roll with sauteed mushrooms & onions, dijon mustard and some rocket. Damn. That was good. Brekkie today was 1/4 avo on a 1/2 slice of low gi seed bread, and a latte (thanks, Discovery) Lunch is an orange and the other 1/4 of avo. Dinner - not sure yet. Maybe some steak, maybe a grilled chicken breast and loads of veg. Will see how it goes.

Cois Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Fudge... Booked off for the rest of the week.3 new bottles of meds and pills to add to my collection. It presents as asthma and I can't read the Dr's hand writing. But got Flemsolv, Sintrine and Be-Tabs Prednisone to try to help. The Sintrine is just a nasty little bugger. Kills 100% of apatite due to the bad taste), and I have to eat to drink these pills. But I will have to return to work tomorrow. I have a fear inside of me that I might kill the downstairs for running an illegal child care (abuse) facility.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 that suuuucks, bro. Not cool. Segregate yourself properly and don't do any worl. Seriously. Working when you're like that will only prolong the issue.
Boerklong Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I was at 93kg somewhere at the start of this challenge. Weighed myself today and I am a solid 101kg. So whats my plan? Stop boozing for 10 weeks, eat healthier and less food. Oh yes and get on the bike again after 3 months of being sleg.

Oh yes and get on the bike again after 3 months of being sleg.cut the junk... eat small portions and go back for seconds after 10-15 min if you still feel hungry...stop eating when you feel you have had enough... pedal fast with little power...spin dont grind... dont weigh yourself everyday...the only reason we do that is because we have been cheating and hoping that we have not put on a kg or two... if you have just stopped smoking...rather start again it is easier to give up smoking than loose weight...(some might say bullsyte) i tend to disagree i see so many people going back to smoking as soon as they start piling on the weight...some will say smoking is bad for you...more people are dying from obesity than smoking. all this coming from a non smoking fat oke...i wouldnt listen to a fat person giving advise on weight loss

This, but before going back for 2nds klap a large glass of water. You may find it's just habit forcing you back to the plate...
BigT4 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I started a weight loss program called Healthpointe 2.1 on the 16 May 2016. After one cyle I went from 100.4kg to 93.2kgs. Lost 32cms total. That was after 6 weeks and started a second one now. Hoping to get to 87kg by the time September races start. Feeling better and my climbing has improved. If anyone interested in Healthpointe 2.1. Google it or message me. It works for me and I hope to reach my goal in 5 weeks time Already 1kg down after a week of the second cycle.
SpecialK Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I need to get back on track... I got to the point of saying "something needs to change" by end of last year when I hit 80kg. I started seeing a nutritionist at the end of January with the aim of dropping 5kg by Sani2c. I also began training under 2 world-class coaches, doing olympic weightlifting and powerlifting, plus I was on the bike most weekends, both Saturdays and Sundays. Sani2c arrived, and I surpassed my goal by losing about 8kg. By end of May I was sitting a hair's breadth under 70kg, with my body fat % down from 37% to 24%. Then it all started going pear-shaped (literally)... A 2 week trip to the UK, a lack of motivation ever since then and not being on the bike since Sani has seen a 2kg increase on the scales. Granted, it's not much, but aim is now to get back into it and see goal weight of around 67-68kg, with a body fat % of approx. 20-22%... So... I need to start cleaning up my eating again... There have been way too many "treats" that have snuck in on almost a daily basis, and it's showing, both on the waistline, my moods, and energy levels. I definitely felt better when I was eating less crap. Luckily I've still been consistently going to the gym 3-4 times a week, it's just the cold weather which has made getting back on the bike a lot more difficult. Maybe it's time to enter another challenging event that will force me to get back into training
HOEKVLAG Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 if you have just stopped smoking...rather start again it is easier to give up smoking than loose weight...(some might say bullsyte) i tend to disagree i see so many people going back to smoking as soon as they start piling on the weight...some will say smoking is bad for you...more people are dying from obesity than smoking. all this coming from a non smoking fat oke...i wouldnt listen to a fat person giving advise on weight loss I think that we can all agree that smoking is bad for you. It's possible loose weight without smoking. Please don't start smoking again...
Pieter1 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I think that we can all agree that smoking is bad for you. It's possible loose weight without smoking. Please don't start smoking again...Yea man I quit smoking and started to diet at the same time. It is entirely doable.

I had to go to physio for help to get the lung biscuits out. Yesterday was my first day back on the job. Stay warm and keep drinking fluids. Good luck.
