Cool, I just need to do some work on them first to make sure they can be fully restored and properly functional. I wouldnt pass on anything I wouldnt be happy using and its hard to tell with them in the state they are if its just light surface rust or deeper pitting.

Thanks Rocket-Boy, mother-in-law and her friend, paraplegic's wife, bought the tiles but luckily they all are very happy with the outcome. Went back after lunch to check on one of our workers who was finishing up on the outside and caught the husband on the loo with a big grin on his face. He said that's the best [emoji90]he had here since the in-laws (their friends for 40+years) moved down here 21 years ago. Everything was in place and the correct height [emoji85][emoji23][emoji40]

Busy making mast sections for the dinghy, so had to make a sanding belt driver for the 500mm belt. So I made this with an old rolling pin, road bike tube and threaded rod, attached to an electrical drill.

This is to achieve the following "roundness" in the hollow mast sections;

 

Final diameter is 52mm to fit mast foot and deck-collar of 55mm.

The times when a wood lathe would be so handy! Depending of course on how long the section is.
