Anyone have experience (good or bad) with Ryder tyre sealant?

I replaced both my tyres which had this sealant and while cleaning the inner tyres I was surprised at how easy it all came off with a brush and water. My previous experience with other products have been a horrible sticky gum which was almost impossible to take off.

My question is, does the Ryder sealant actually plug punctures? I can't tell because I haven't noticed any punctures either because it's working well or I've just been lucky.

I have continued using it as I like supporting local as much as possible.

It's an advertised "feature" of the sealant.

I was honestly considering this stuff last week when i was shopping for sealant, it looked the business, but I was mounting a Maxxis DHF non TL tire, so caved and went with stans for the latex. Tire mounted no issues and is holding pressure perfectly :)

Will give this Ryder a go next time!

just my 2c , I was recommended by a guy here to try moto-x sealant so went to the shop and asked around and they recommended stuff called "survival"

it works awesome sealing tiny holes to huge ones

and R150 for 500ml's is a bargain

I found that motorbike sealant is a bit think for my liking so i add a little engine coolant to make a bit more thin. Not that specific brand though.

Ryder sealant left me in the dirt on the K2C with a tiny pinhole in that awkward place where the sidewall meets the tread.  whenever I would stop and inflate my wheel, it seals fine, but once you pick up speed, the sealant is too heavy and too thick and centrifugal forces moves it away from the hole.  So after stopping the 4th time on that long downhill section about 10 or 15km in, I dumped out the sealant and went tube for the remainder of the ride.

Won't touch the stuff again with a borrowed braaitang.  Using Tyre Juice and have not had a puncture since I've started.
