Doing tri's about once a year. My First Ascent pakkie is showing its age now, so I'm looking for something new. Any suggestions? Preferably single-piece/short-sleeve/butterfly.

My Orca 226 seem to last well ... don't know if they still make the 226, but the brand seems good.

I have a 2XU short sleeve suit. One piece. Works well. Used it for a few full and half.

if the first ascent worked well, get another.

226 refers to IM distance in km so it is their upper end garment. Orca apparel is good quality ,but to each his own as the most important part is comfort. What works for one person does not always work for the other.

I think the biggest issue is that I left this to the last minute. The tri is on the weekend and somehow there are no tri shops in or close to Cape Town CBD?

Have you tried Ciovita? I bought one of there suits. Lekker product, reasonably priced. And close to the CBD.

Enjoy CC. Also in Cape Town CBD.

About R1000 cheaper than Ciovota and of a very good qaulity. Have done a full IM and about 4 70.3s in one of theirs, with no issues.

I am looking for the best solution to mount a bottle cage between my tri bars. Does anyone have any suggestions which is available locally?

Tririg recently launched this bridge plate which looks very neat and will be solid, but is also quite expensive for what is is - https://tririg.com/collections/hydration-1/products/universal-bta-adapter-plate

Sup @Rudi Pollard why not 3D print it. I can help with that, Drop me a DM if you are interested
