TMNP are nothing if not consistent. Consistently useless. I am not even angry anymore - if you expect nothing, when nothing arrives you aren't disappointed. Nonetheless the fight will continue.

 

Isn't it bizarre how SANBI, the Kirstenbosch people and the ultra green brigade that they are, have embraced the route through their hallowed turf  and even put up signs already. I wonder what their budget is compared to SANP who won't fund a thing.

Goose, the beauty of Tokai is that unlike TMBC there are those quite long jeep track routes to tire people out so wheels are not concentrated on custom built single track alone. There are also no races through Tokai and more trails available outside Tokai than ever before. So, while maintenance will be an issue its not as bad as it might seem.

 

Tokai is a mess of aliens in places but there are forests of silver leaf trees coming up in others. You'll be able to boost some air on the DH line in a year or two in their shade.

Nobody at TokaiMTB can answer that question because SANParks change their tune daily.

And if you question what is happening they flat out ignore you.
