I really feel that are truly privileged to be watching these guys and girls ride their bikes right now.

That was proper bike racing today, sjoe.

MvdP was broken at the finish!

I love how he absolutely empties himself. He really does leave it all out on the road.
A huge burst of emotion and then its back to the 'quiet and contained' personality again.

After yesterday, it will be very hard to look past MVDP to win again. Unless, we see a looming WvA. This may be his chance at glory as TdF will see him likely in the hunt for a bit here or there, but primarily to keep Rog in the game with Pog.

Unless Pog was keeping his powder dry for one definitive break for glory, I can't see him in the final frames on Sunday afternoon.

One thing is certain though, riders want to win this thing and will make it a memorable one for sure.

There’s a lot of stunned expressions in Belgium too. Snow in April at low altitudes and sea level, what the fork indeed.

The Dark horse:
Pogačar; as a former CX national champ (2019).
He's listed as a favourite, but I think many think he's not good enough on the cobbles.

A favourite:
MVDP; too easy to pick as winner

The outsider:
Gianni Moscon

One doesn't need good luck to win, but rather no bad luck on the day.

Ja nee - WVA tests positive with the gogga. The Steppers will be keen to win a race again. Then there’s The Pog, who is always determined and want to improve tactically, and then the favourite in Mathieu.
Promises to be another splendid RvV.
