Thanks

Will be testing another bag - see post #240 ... doubt the white will look "good" after a few muddy rides ....

Interesting times with some nice options ....

And it can pack a LOT of stuff !!  :w00t:

Got this bag (the small white one) from Olympic cycles -

At the price it was worth trying .... if this works I can look for a black bag....

Should add that the salesman sold me on a Spez 29er tube .... about half the packing space of a normal 29er tube !  And thus I can pack the following in the small bag -

PS - This was the last one off their stock .... they will try to get more.  Salesman says they are getting more and more enquiries for saddle bags that are dropper friendly ...

Just checked - the standard 24'' tube for Maritz's bike takes the same space as the Spez 29er tube !    :w00t:

the smaller 29er tube makes a huge difference in the packing space required !!

Very similar to our Mini Race Bag.

JIP !!

With the Spez tube one fits a LOT more into these small bags than I ever thought possible !!!!

When the white "Wears out", I may well buy your mini-race bag.

That's a nice little bag, but, where do I put my pump in?

See attached pic and give advice please. [emoji1787][emoji85]07bf9823dfe08d42ab4cb00314e5435d.jpg

I do believe these small bags offer a lot for those that dont want to cart along a ton of stuff .... but the Speedsleeve certainly is better option if you are going so far off the beaten track that you need to be self sufficient ...... riding HERE I certainly want a Speedsleeve type bag ... NO back-up, NO cell reception ... just a mother long walk if you cant fix your bike .....

Wait, what is in the saddle bag if the bombs are screwed to the frame? #HiddenMotor #hiddenBattery

All of the above. :D

I do not ride with any items in my back pockets, except my cell phone.

Had a fall in a mtb race where I ended up landing on my back. One of the items I had in my back pocket slammed against my spine, injuring me. I just came of another series of physio visits, to sort out the pinched / injured nerve. Set me back with 4 weeks of no riding.

So I'll rather look like a dork, but not risk injuring myself in a possible fall.
