Cav sh!t out of luck here it seems

Only one that wouldn't raise eyebrows here is Ineos, but they have 30 on their books according to PCS

Maybe an un-popular opinion, but I for one would very much like to see Cav get a spot and at least a shot at getting that 35th win in the tour.

It would be sad to see him never achieve that ....

indeed,

of the riders who have ridden the tour this century, he is streets ahead.

only Kittel came close to being as ruthless.

Imagine finding out from a Hubber that you are moving to a new team, that would be quite something.

All the best Mr Wakefield!

So look like he will get a chance to have a crack at the record, nice !

Cav speculation is clearly silly, but way more fun than Froome returning to his peak stories.

The odds are really against him now. He seems to only perform when the whole ecosystem around him is perfect. Will have to wait and see if anything happens, but him moaning about his sh1tty BMC bike might look quite silly if he gets a ride on a tier 2 team with a (still fine but) not so flashy bike sponsor.

Cavendish reported to have signed for Astana....reported to be going to the training camp tomorrow...

This really tells me he is hungry to ride.

A documentary series with him getting sprinting orders from vino would be awesome
