Cav speculation is clearly silly, but way more fun than Froome returning to his peak stories. The odds are really against him now. He seems to only perform when the whole ecosystem around him is perfect. Will have to wait and see if anything happens, but him moaning about his sh1tty BMC bike might look quite silly if he gets a ride on a tier 2 team with a (still fine but) not so flashy bike sponsor.
