ummmm.... not sure, but I like where you are going with this ...

had a quick look again, issue/challenge will be the ERGO shape of the top part - will not allow the shifter / brakes to fit -- that area needs to be round.

Feel like I could make it work and a lot cheaper than AXS but none available on your site - got a 46 lying around ?

all gone - we brought in the quantity as per our backorders to ensure we got the ones for people who had already ordered.

the next batch is due February - but again, we will process in order of backorders received. there is alot of interest from USA, UK etc for the same stock - so backorders will get allocated and surplus will be shipped to Distributors. The Aero Gravel Alloy will only be available from the GLOBAL site and no plans to stock in South Africa unfortunately.

these came out alright!!!

new CARBON RIGID forks - 29er ( 483mm axle to crown ) and QR or Thru-Axle versions.

Nice, what sort of pricing?

Posted (edited)

Thanks, for my interest, why would the thru axel fork be R1000.00 more than the QR one?

Guessing market for QR 29er forks is small and older moulds and tech?

Correct - we clearing them at cost. Will not do QR versions again.

ah ok... When your earlier post said new fresh out of the mould and qr and thru axel I assumed they would all be new stock and period of manufacture.

Nice to see our Aero Bolt-On V2 getting some real-world MTB reviews!

This one from the guys at bikepacking.com ????????

Bought one for 36One, haven’t really tested it much until today. Did a 5 hour road/gravel endurance ride in the pissing rain. Bar was great, I found myself on it for long periods of time. As I said it was bucketing down and no issues with slip, even without the little pad thingies. I can really get into a nice pedaling rhythm while in that position.

I have not been paid to say this. I am in no way affiliated to Farr.

But I have to share this.

I bought a Farr saddle a few months ago. From ride one, I was happy.

A good few 100km rides at all is fantastic.

Today, I cranked it up a touch. A 200km + ride on horrendous road surfaces on my hardtail.

After the ride my legs are obviously tired. My arms are tired. And my hands took a hammering. My feet were on fire.

But my backside is perfect. I can climb onto that saddle right now and feel like I felt at 5am this morning. My bum is soo happy. This saddle is fantastic.

So if you spend extended times in the saddle, consider a Farr saddle. Your ass will thank you later!

My legs can't do 200km (yet) but I'm pretty sure that since changing to this saddle my @rse could.  In fact I bought another for my other bike.

I have the new carbon rail version and after trying everything and amassing a mountain of saddles I have finally found the one.
