Still riding and enjoying my Following MB. She used to be called Olivia but I think I have change her name to Jessica. I eventually got the decals made for the head tube that I "designed" about 2 years ago. I stole the Evil/Deadpool design and did some entry level Photoshop of Jessica Rabbit on a WW2 bomb in there as well.

Actually, my fiancée eventually got it made for me.

My new-to-me 2017 Evil The Wreckoning, bought of a hubber! First time on a super bike like this, almost didn't buy because who really needs a monster like this. Lucky my want decidedly outvoted my need.

Such a beast. It's going to be a long time before I outgrow this one, if ever. I have a lot of skills to learn to do this girl justice, but that's what it's all about amirite?

Sucks to climb steep hills with her, but to be fair, I would be miserable climbing on any bike. On flat stuff she pedals like a dream though, super comfy ride.

First time ever that I found a bike that fits me so well. Finding a good fit for tall people sucks.

Now I need to go learn to corner fast and jump without killing myself.

Awesome bike!! I have a Following and absolutely LOVE IT!! These Evil's just fit so well. Had a guy describe the fit like sliding into an old pair of wooly slippers... LOL - he was right!

Congrats on the super bike. They really inspire confidence. I’m riding way more out of my comfort zone than I could ever on my Morewood with 160mm travel.

Evil bikes can only be described as naughty.

That shock is droolworthy!! How's it treating you?

That shock is droolworthy!! How's it treating you?

It's awesome. I need to have it tuned still for my weight and stuff, and I reckon it can get somewhat better, but as it stands it's awesome.

First time riding a coil shock, and the plushness of it is amazing. Between the suspension setup and the shock, I get a definite moving forward feeling when I pedal on flats and stuff.

Managed to stick to an oke on a fairly long flatish single track without too much hassle, and he was on a hardtail. I'm sure I had to work harder than him, but nothing that made me feel like it was massive effort (also I'm heavy unfit)

Climbing is harder, but that's a whole bike thing, it's bulkier and bigger than anything I've ridden before, I don't ever feel like I'm bobbing or anything. Only weird thing is trying to climb out of saddle feels meh.

I find that just slowing down, getting comfy and spinning my way to the top takes waay less effort than trying to rush up.

Going down is weird. Mostly it feels great, but every so often I get some track where the bike feels off. Not sure what that is as the trail conditions are mostly consistent.

Generally I'm still trying to figure out how to dial it in along with the mrp fork, but I'm taking the approach that I just need to ride a lot more before doing stuff like that makes sense. So for the time being it's going to a bit weird and whatnot.

I thought about replacing it for an air shock that's half the weight and you can lock it out and stuff, and decided against it in the end. This shock is a beast, no point having it if I'm not going to use it, the price of having it tuned is a lot, but it seems to be a one off thing, and I've already adjusted my riding to it and I enjoy it. Also it looks badd. ass.

Only thing left is to get the skills and balls together to have it live it's purpose fully. Took it to an enduro trail close by, and boy do I have a ways to go. Left broken but happy.

Evil Following V1 going strong. Just put a new Ohlins 140mm Fork on her and its such a blast!  Also just bought a set of Guide RSC brakes (second hand) to replace the weak little Level's that came on her.

LOve the red, it goes really well.

Quick update.

So I've been on my Following MB now for a couple of months and I'm still working on getting the suspension dialed in. So far I'm close but I can't get the Pike to be 100% on fast stutter bumps like braking bumps. Seems to harden up a bit.

Running 2 clicks of HSC and LSC from open and 8 click back from slowest on rebound.

Rear shock seems fine as it came out of the box.

Made a couple of upgrades like the OneUp V2 dropper post and OneUp bar and EDC stem with tool.

Big issue is the linkage bolts that are made of cheese. At correct torque settings they tend to start rounding out. Bit annoying but there is a company in the UK that makes Ti upgrade kit.

One annoying issue I can't sort out is shifting to one specific gear in the back. Just wont climb up unless you give it a tiny bit of extra push on the shifter. Everything else is crisp and fast. I suspect it to be a machining issue on the Sunrace cassette. Down the line I'll upgrade the rear hub to microspline to run the SLX cassette to match the derailleur and shifter.

I also have the grommet on the swing arm popping out occasionally. Seems like the movement of the swingarm causes the housing to move around a little bit too much and it pulls out.

Other than that I am super happy. New photos coming soon.
