Good point.... but maybe their TT will be strong enough whereas now he is going to have to keep on paying ever time the TT breaks.

My random and rather limited googling has not found person who has broken more than 1 Aeroad frame. How has this guy managed to break 3?

I’m surprised nobody has moaned about OP doing speeds so high down Sandton Drive that it requires an aero tuck

Haha I was thinking about that... the only place I imagine to hit 95 on sandton drive has a traffic light half way down it. I work in the opposite building and I see bikes flying through this red light far too often...

(not the place to take this up though)

more sophisticated Google-ing only reveals a random smattering of Canyon bikes with frame cracks and zero total failures. Pretty similar to any other manufacturer.

or if he got the KOM

The Engen2Engen KOM was set on a TT bike.... a whole new can of worms.

The way I understand it TT bikes are fine. Motorpacing is not.

In Cape Town we also have howling winds. Does having your bird drop you upwind count as motorpacing? #greyarea.

You need to go in excess of 100km/h to get that KOM ... and probably need a leadout tandem

As stated in my previous post, my Boet has got over 100 down there.
