David, i did a 1 min hard effort. it aapears that the 20% spike is triggering. i changed it to 75% but still seems to be eliminating that effort from stats, not picked as interval?

Intervals.icu now supports adding calendar entries for races, planned workouts, holidays, when you got sick or injured etc.. You can also import calendars from other systems (e.g. from TrainerRoad) to see your training plan in Intervals.icu. Currently this info is only shown on the activities page. Future fitness based on your plan will be on the /fitness chart soon.

I see it only loads or displays 2 - 3 weeks of the plan. How do we get the activities to show more weeks - I have loaded an 8 week plan and can only see the 1st 2 weeks

You can use the date drop down on the top left of the toolbar to select "October" and other further into the future months.

I have struggled to come up with a way to make this more intuitive. I tried the "pull down to load more" gesture but thats really annoying when you are just scrolling up and down. I might try adding a "More" button in the "WEEK" box somehow.

The calendar entries are now included on the /fitness chart including plans from TrainerRoad. I still need to do some work to include non-workout things like sick or travelling etc.

Tx @madmarc for the detailed post on the TrainerRoad forum on how to get all this working!

My pleasure - hope it was the correct method.

thanx for the latest update - this is fantastic, not sure what pro coaches have to say about it, but for us mere mortals its probably the best app add on for training there is.

You must be commended on your work.

Intervals.icu now shows sick/injured time on the /fitness chart. You just have to add a calendar entry. You can also lock the marker by clicking or pressing escape. Useful when you are trying to click on one of the activities for the day.

A question for the people who have done a FTP test vs the estimation given by this tool. Do the values differ significantly or is the estimation close enough if you are not looking into going pro anytime soon?

Also is there anything that I can do on a ride to make sure the estimation is as accurate as possible or should I just HTFU and get through a ramp or 20 min FTP test to get an accurate number?

Just started out with this training with power thing, so trying to use HUB wisdom instead of trail and error,

The trend these days is to do a ramp test rather than the 20 min FTP test.

Quicker test, psychologically not as hard or demanding

My estimated FTP reads withing 5 w of my ramp test - so i would say thats fairly accurate.

However if you just started with power training then i would recommend to start every plan with an FTP test - 20 min / 8 min or ramp whichever suits you

I find the accuracy depends on how long I set the minimum time period to for the FTP estimate on intervals.icu. At 5 minutes it over-estimates by almost 20w compared to the 20 minute test. If I change the minimum to 8 minutes the estimate comes down to within 5w.
