I ride with a signal booster and battery pack with me to ensure maximum speed when shifting. Marginal gains and all. It also helps keeping wired peasants with signal blockers at bay. It's a small price to pay! ????

Hahahaha!

Congrats, you need to post a review.

Also, how badly did all the pointing and laughing by jealous twats affect you ride?

I'm sure all he could see was the sun sparkling off that petrol cassette and chain and the only thing he could hear was the vvvt of the little gearbox making his shifts????

Looks like such a rad piece of kit

lol didn't even think about that...at least my 'cheapo' dropper is also held in place with a 'mechanical tether'  ^_^.

...pretty sure a wireless sram dropper will still need to be  bled somehow...you know...because reasons

So i only did a 4 hr ride with it. Initial impressions are good. Shifts flawlessly. Literally just tap the button and it moves. On one occasion when i heldthe button in, it shifted a few more gears than i wanted but i put that down to user error. The shifter button takes some getting used to and i am not sure i am used to it yet. I am used to the longer stroke of the XX shifter so just having to touch a button felt strange.

I like to cleanliness of having less cables.

That being said i didnt put the new casette and chain on. Still running my old ones as it is fairly new. Will use the ones supplied with the groupset when the time comes to replace parts.

For the record - On Saturday I did a ride with some 400 other cyclists.

I want to appologize to the cycling gods for not searching for anybody using an AXS setup, and pointing and laughing at them ....

Frankly, I was having way too much fun cycling and enjoying the scenery and the comradery to be bothered with who used what derailleur

That is part of the intuitive shifting feature and if you needed massive instantaneous shifting up or down

Those Sram engineers are genius

half of the complaints on this thread were typed on samsung 9 or apple whatever R20k phones.

in 10 years we will all be rolling on wireless something . its like LP's - they are cool but which artist makes a career out of releasing them?

tech is prevalent in every aspect of our lives, embrace it..it will trickle down to even the level of the LG phone user.

typed on an overpriced (but brilliant) MacBook pro.
