Daar is dit.... hier gaan ons nou!

If you want to text and drive on a public road, it's a public matter. And besides, CWC seem to answer faster on the Hub than they do on mails.

OP maybe go post this on one of their deal threads....

This I can attest to, I'm still waiting for a reply to an email from 2017. . . .

When this looting happens, just consider us all and post it here so we can all be there to take part. There is a bike or two thats fairly interesting.

I thought we already discussed and depunked the need for pictures?!

Why post this on a public forum with no real facts or evidence to help them rectify the problem you have clearly experienced?

Me thinks a personal email to them with the time and details of car and that the incident occurred would be in everyone's best interests rather. But cool, each to their own i suppose.

tell you what irritates me...

Methinks is one word not two!

There was a video a while back where a cyclist was talking to a women and saying she was texting and her response was "I was on Facebook!!!"

People and phones... recently joined the gym again of many many years... As I walked in the first time the other day I realised how much I hate the gym.. I didn't realise you have to dress up and spray some EDT aswell ... Why do I know this cause no damn bottle of AXE smells that good but anyway I digress...

Flippen treadmill full of people "running" but checking their phones?

cause watching a video doesn't mean you're NOT running at full tilt , if you had a gripe with someone sitting in A machine while checking facebook and you want to use said machine then sure , maar kalmeer bietjie

I am on the road a lot and it's shocking how many people are on their phone.

They are easy to spot, doing 70 in the fast lane, riding from line to line or the ones on your rear you can read the message reflected on their face. For the last 1 I love my fog lights. There is nothing that works better to get someone of the rear, I wait for them to look down and then hit it and watch the panic attack behind????

I'm sure we have all done it before. A bit extreme to create a thread.

Not extreme if you consider there are actually people on this forum who has a 9yo daughter who was ridden off her bike by a distracted driver.

We should all stop being so nonchalant about being on our phones while driving or having 2 drinks and driving home. No wonder our road deaths figures are where they are.

Seriously, ambassadors of the sport need to man up. If one person stops using there phone while driving then this thread is warranted.

Over here in Aus, the legislation is under review. One offense of using your phone could be a 10k ZAR fine. Second offense and you loose your license!

The problem is that the majority sees this as accepted norm. as do alot of companies, who cant be too bothered as long ass the job is done.

Never mind how dangerous and inconsiderate they are to other road users. Other day on the radio, some cop or minister said something about doing more to prosecute this inconsiderate driving.

Waiting to see ..........

@Swift fully agreed, but as you can see what I mentioned previously with the extreme response, is whats not needed on the roads.

At the end of the day laws are laws. Majority of them are there for the safety of others, like stopping at a red light or stop street. Even using the CYCLE LANE when there is one

Creating a thread on the Hub now considered “extreme”, mmmkaaayy.

Have you ever tried putting a drop of Tabasco on your eggs?
