    • No, because most of the 150km of the trails are generally speaking, smooth as tar.

This thread gave me leptospirosis. Knowing that trollface thermophile personally, I could only imagine him replying to a pre-angina mamil whilst eating ramen with the one hand and the other down his underwearless boardshorts. Take it from me mamil. Chill. You are burning through precious cardiovascular lifespan. Meanwhile thermopilies is watching naruto music videos and playing with his cats. Enjoy the race tomorrow and whooosssaaaaaa.

???????????????????????????????????????????????? Jesus Christ that's oddly accurate

As an aside, I think this thread is THE perfect example of why Nick shut down the one preceding this.

You guys really have just proved him right...........

Ah Guy, please it's the interwebs...it has 3 main purposes... :P

1) Porn

2) Cat videos

3) People bitching at one another for others entertainment WITHOUT mods getting involved

I declared that intention quite early on ...

hahahahahaha

I must admit to have enjoyed it.

Thank you all of you. Nanny let me down this weekend so it's been full time dadding and 2 bouts on the trainer and following this. Fantastic!

I do also think taking a proposal like this to the AGM isn't the best idea. I would book an afternoon with the board under a white flag.

Mamil seems like he would be good to take along. He isn't afraid to butt heads, he seems to have some insight into poles and stats and if worse comes to worst, he can bite them!

Wouldn't be difficult I don't think.

Consensus is that we've entertained so I suppose there's nothing funnier than two clowns exchanging verbal b1tchslaps.

Maybe mamil is part of the club's conspiring inner circle, trolling thermo to get the thread shut down. . . . .

So on reflection and after emptying all my vim and vigour  at the Tour de PPA I'd like to proffer an apology to Thermophage for going off pop at him in this thread. Sometimes I see red and it's a character flaw.

People who used to play cricket with me would initially be surprised at how I could get locked into verbal jousting matches of varying degrees of intensity and as they got used to it would just shake their heads or encourage me if they wanted a good laugh. Sometimes it would work for me and I'd piss someone off enough that they'd make a mistake especially if I was bowling. But if batting it would invariably be me who made the mistake. While it's going on though I do get a sort of perverse pleasure out of giving free reign to my tongue. At the end of it though, assuming my target had a sense of humour we'd drink a beer and they'd laugh at me as my legs cramped up. At least I have one or 2 funny stories as a legacy of that time.

Maybe it's a question of a character trait that could be a wonderful servant but a terrible master.

Anyway - sorry Thermophage. I hope you get a gnarly trail at Hoogies.

We all got some or other of the traits - learning to work with them is the commitment and the work.

"Sorry for being a dwis. What can I say. The scorpion stings. The mamil bites." cluster B stuff right there.

Mate, has your diet lowered your blood, sugar? I haven't seen vim and vigor like this since you commented that my calves were like the pistons of the Titanic, being inevitably disastrous and causing a sinking sensation. Just because some boys have an aversion to lycra they shouldn't make you so frustrated... Breathe, brother Mamil!
