Absolutely awesome, and there I was thinking R7k would be a good target ...

He can get a nice upgrade on the stolen bike and the debt can be klapped one shot.

Job well done to all !!!

Just saw this now :(

Just something to maybe keep in mind. I see there is two e-bikes for sale on the forum that is within reach of this, maybe consider that as well. Seeing as it is their only form of transport, it might assist them in getting further, faster than they normally would - opening potential areas for work.

Sheeet. He can get a sweet Pyga now

I know you're joking but I'd suggest looking at a cheaper bike with insurance... No point in a fancy bike that might make him a target and could disappear again.

Even if he uses the money he was putting towards the debt to pay for the insurance.

Morning all, an additional amount of R300 by SCARY RIDER cleared on Sunday and pushed the total amount to R17 500

Now we need to ask your help again... to find a bike   Neither Andrew or myself have been able to find a Small 29er in Jbg or CT for under R12 000. It would seem that stock is an issue everywhere at the moment.

I saw this little bike in the classified's today and it looks pretty neat, could it be viable option?

That look like a very good option.  There is very little small frame bikes available, may need to jump on this one before its gone.

A little expensive. I sold a Scott Scale with full XT and a Fox 32 on it for that amount 2 months ago. And that bike was really in mint condition.

Second to this, anyone with any ideas on how to handle the insurance? Our biggest fear is we're sitting back at square one again in a couple weeks time... it's also something we need to figure into the costing. I've even considered adding it to mine, but not sure that's viable...

Sad we have to think this way, but it is what it is

Are there really no shops or brands that want to get involved here? Would be well worth the PR in exchange for a reasonable discount....

There is basically no supply of bikes in this price point from factory, so although it may be a good PR move, it wouldn’t really be beneficial or viable.
