I just checked my emails, looks like I also did the Black Friday deal.

 

I think I will add another email to their inbox and query it.

I received a less than professional looking response with a Promo code.

I registered on the page they told me and tried to find the event but could not, I assume because it only goes live tomorrow.

They told me to register on howler.co.za , after that I was told to find the event and use the code. I cant find the event on the howler site

ok so I went to the ride joburg page and entered from there.

Seems I have a paid for entry that's useable for 2021 as well. 

 

Back then (23/09/2020), you had 3 options, and no answer meant your entry was carried over to 2021.

I emailed them and  they said they had sent an email to my email address but I never received it. So I gave my name and ID number and  they sent me the promo code. 

 

Entered now and received confirmation.

last year or year before (with covid) its confusing

 

however last ride they had a short route started at Melrose Arch and ended at same spot as long route

 

was 40 odd kms

 

no mention of a short route this year wonder why

 

thought there were quite a few that rode the short route and enjoyed it

Not to be a party pooper but given the covid vaccine pace in SA have to say I cant see an event like this taking place in 2021.
