Looks like the TDF F will be a closer run affair than the boys version. Hoping K Le C-P gets back in yellow.

Kim just about giving me a heart attack now!

Amazing performance with the S5 win, and she’s back in the yellow. 

Chapeau to Demi Vollering for the challenge on the line - beaten by a chin hair, so close that Kim reckoned she’d celebrated too early for a moment there. Phew.

Good grief, this UAE youngster, Squiban, has left the rest of the field looking for parking. 1’29 ahead with 1.9km to go, from a 30+km solo attack.

Stage goes to 23yo Maeva Squiban. 2nd to Labous +1.10, Kim 3rd.

Kasia burning so many matches with one hilly and two mountain stages to come? Both UAE and Movistar going for stage wins after losing their GC leaders to illness. PFP to be the French star to take the Golden Fleece home? She seems well placed.

It is clear that WWT level of racing and team rivalries have gone to the next level. The depth of skill, capability and talent is beautifully obvious and it’s no longer and definitely no-longer-just-the-SDW-show. 
And Vos approaches a remarkable 260 professional stage wins (pic).
