UAE loses George Bennet to a Positive Covid result :(

O'Connor, Vuillermoz, Durbridge and Bennett out of the Tour

13:22

Several riders will not take the start today: Ben O’Connor (AG2R-Citroën), Alexis Vuillermoz (TotalEnergies), due to injuries, Luke Durbridge (Team BikeExchange-Jayco) who tested positive for Covid-19 with very mild symptoms, George Bennett (UAE Team Emirates) who also tested positive for Covid-19.

I don't wanna be thaaaat guy🤧

Whilst it's sad news that Bennet is out of the tour due to Covid (and Majka also sick, tested positive but with a low enough viral load to continue), but hopefully this opens the GC battle. Bleak!!
Pog just too strong at the moment. Geraint & Jonas need every bit of help

They need Bernard Hinault to sort them out

Gallery: Hinault's punching victim wasn't cycling's only protester - VeloNews.com

Cyclists really shouldn't throw those embarrassing punches, not even The Badger. 🙈

Bellissimo, Alberto, bellissimo! 💋

Magnificent Magnus, barely out of the polka dot jersey. What a Tour he's had for the team in pink.

"I was on the limit for so long on the climb. Luckily, I had Bettiol who was really strong and in front in many moments, which meant i could sit on and save some energy. Somehow I was losing the group a couple of times in the last couple of kilometres, but suddenly it was all back together and I was there and I was able to take it in the sprint."

Why did pog sprint when his team seemed to be slowing down to give yellow away ? Did he try to make a break to gain a few secs on the other top GC guys in the peleton ? I don't see any other explanation

Why aren't you sharing pics on here of where you're currently playing bikes? I'm sure there are many guys on here who would be as jealous as I am LOL...

Magnus was saying that he kept being dropped on the slopes approaching the finalé and he just kept going (one of the things he learnt in cycling is to simply never give up as anything can happen in the face).

Gotta feel for Kämna. He emptied himself in the hope for yellow.
Today (4000m vert + today)and tomorrow is gonna be intense as we enter some high altitude. Go, NairoMan!
