oh come on, that's the best part. Now we're deprived of cameo SA accents

Looks like Maincheese will also be the only saffer represented at the tour this year.

Gibbo recovering post his back operation

Impey not at full force post his crash last year

Not sure about Debod being part of the Astana start list.

At least Maincheese is showing some form of late.

so much can happen between now and then.... the only thing we'll be certain of is MVDP will recover...

Much is being said about ITT distances in grand tours, but wouldn't it be great to see a TTT with Jumbo with the squad they have

Great documentary on Jumbo Visma at last year's tour.

Even with all the 1st week shambles, they still had a super tour.

Kuss, Wout and Jonas were brilliant.

Does anyone have an answer for Pogi though???

I'm hoping Primoz is at his utmost best, then maybe a chance ...

from the looks of it, the race is won 2 months in advance. how can that be entertaining? personally, I'd be far happier watching the Giro again.

I hope primoz has better luck than 2021

True, he can hardly have worse luck than 2021.  Even with luck on his side he will need super form as well to challenge Pog.

JV are going to have to try something different to get the jump on Pog somewhere.

Maybe do a monster TTT at the end of stage 2 to drop Pog in the crosswinds anticipated on the 18km long bridge...

“It blows there 300 days a year,”said Trek-Segafredo’s Mads Pedersen

A cross wind dropping is what I would consider to be key to beating the Pog. But maybe we must take this underground as we don’t need J.Wakefield taking our tactics and strategy suggestions to the board of engineering another Pog win.😂

I would be very surprised if John didn't think of this risk factor on stage 2. It is one thing to know about the plan, it is a totally different thing to get your ducks in a row to cover the risk.

The team selection conundrum is really interesting with the course this year. WvA is worth his weight in Gold to JV as he can assist Roglic in all the terrains.
