I've seen a few of these bikes recently at the Tour/CTCT... Very sad for their owners/riders. Hope they find them...

How do you steal 12 bikes?

It happens in Europe from time to time.
The team truck is broken into and cleaned out.

I don't know what the modus operandi was here, but I imagine that all the bikes were stored in one place and just loaded on a truck and driven off.

If it's from a guest farm, the chances are high that it was a tip-off or inside job. Someone must know something...
I hope the bikes are recovered unscathed and culprits brought to book ASAP!

The team has been around since tour du cap 2 weekends ago which was in Paarl and i assune they've been staying there since!?

Obviously with some following and observing this was probably a well planned move.

I have seen a vid of a few cyclists riding away in that vacinity at 2h30am this morning. Its a short vid so not sure whether these were taken by 12 individuals or not. Also not sure of the exact location of the cameras to the actual guest farm.

Hence my question. Guest farm, private parking, cctv cameras.

how do you walk in and drive away with 12 bikes. Paarl a small community. Someone definitely knows something.

What I was thinking as well.

Hmmm…      The plot thickens.

PS. All twelve bikes stolen from the cellar,  a guest farm employee or manager or owner?

It's harsh to be baselessly accusing the employee, manager or owner.

Right mate, so this “?” is what’s known as a question mark.
