Awesome stuff, I was with you on the M3, hitting 60km at one stage on the flats, epic. I tried hard to keep that front rolling  but near the end of M3 lost sight of the group ahead and the rolling turned into sit in by most by then.
Love the music in the vid, thanks for sharing.

So, live tracking, I've dont recall ever seeing something official from the event.

Family were asking for this, so I linked them all to my Garmin Live Tracker, which ofcourse decided not to work on the day.

My mate that did IM the week before, I down loaded the app and was able to almost keep a live track of exactly where he was.

IM entry fee is obviously way higher and they can probably afford to have this, but surely racetec, who have mats across various points along the route, could have some sort of segment tracking.

they've done it before with racetec, tlaking 10+ years ago.

also used to get live unofficial finish time on that too

there are way more timing mats than they used to have too, so it would be actually useful.

Not even that long ago. App was still in use about 2 years ago.

Now that you mention it, I do recall one year where they had it.

but yes, with all the additional mats it’s should not be difficult to implement.

With an index of 17.54, and hoping to get it slightly lower over the next year, what group can i expect to start in 2024?

Looks like you got a 3:02 if that's an index from the Cycle Tour. If you're not a licenced rider, 1A for you Mister. Otherwise, you'll mix it up with the rambunctious "&" bunch.

Will be happy with a 1A start
