What a disaster!!!  I so much feel for him.  Had a pretty meh year after the Giro.  Last year it was the Tokyo disappointment, and this the Worlds.

Will he or his great rival WvA ever win the Worlds?  Time is running out....

Given the description of events, not entirely unreasonable. Pretty sure the kids have also been given a proper rollicking at home. 
Imho this is one of those crpy moments where nobody wins.

Sure he was 38 but AvV was 39. Amazing, age is but a number. U23 is a waste of time, should introduce U30 esp for ladies to give others a chance. 😁
