I don't have anything to boast about. To boast would imply fitness, which is something I last knew in 2020. In fact, yesterday I got reminded exactly how unfit I really am.

Off course I do. How else will the less sporty peeps know that as an 58 year old my resting heart rate is 48 bpm, my max still goes up to 187 bpm without effort, and my VO2 max is 43. 😉 😁

But to answer the question, yes I do. I'm fast approaching 50 and I'm in the best shape of my life, I've worked hard for this fitness and I'm proud of it.

So when asked, I most definitely boast about it.

If we go all geeky in terms of fitness, aka CTL, then my “fitness” will be similar every year. Up and down like a sine wave. It’s like saying “As old as I get, I’m still as fit as I was last year”, but some people won’t get it.
