Slowbee Posted March 3, 2021 Share We went out at 18h30 into the Raithby vineyards last night after 7 hours in TEAMS meetings. Our proper lights are back in Johannesburg so we only had our small commuter lights but it was still a fun ride.who be we ?

NotSoBigBen Posted March 4, 2021 Share Good to keep in mind that in these times even the strongest, tallest trees can fall! There's an oldish Landcruiser or something like that under all of that... 'Dale and Frosty
'Dale Posted March 4, 2021 Share No riding for me, for a few days. I climbed off the trainer last night, and noticed my right leg was a little puffy. Thought it might have been from the tightish fitting (Sexy) socks. Seems I may have been bitten by something, small; perhaps a spider or similar. Leg has inflammation from about legal sock height down to the ankle, or should I call it a shankle. I thought it might have been an ingrown hair, which sometimes happens after shaving, but after the inflammation I am considering it to be a little more serious. Sterkte, G. Be proactive with that gogga bite. Frosty

thebob Posted March 4, 2021 Share Counting fan blades. Get a bigger fan! Started with that exact same one, moved on to a 46cm floor fan. Much better!
Frosty Posted March 4, 2021 Share Also have a floor stand... consumes 170W and keeps me cool, but irritates everyone because of the sound it makes; on the slowest speed setting.
Frosty Posted March 4, 2021 Share Sterkte, G. Be proactive with that gogga bite. Thanks ‘Dale. have pics, but I don’t think it’s worth sharing here... stuff here should be positive. Edited March 4, 2021 by Frosty

However, guidance for you:I hear that a rear fan is the best addition and bomb for 3 hour Swift rides.Cools the back and one's boom-boom and kit. thebob and Frosty

Personally I'd prefer from the front, and high up, most of my sweat comes from my head. But I guess everyone is different so you need to find what works for you. The best set-up is front and back fanning, especially in Africa.
