We came down from Walkerville on that road on Wednesday... much better than the previous time we rode up (Fast One MTB) in January. Perhaps all the rain washed the sand away, leaving those rocks.

That rocky section gets a bit uncomfortable on a gravel bike. Since you rode it on Wednesday it’s way better 👌

New trails at Rhebokskloof are great fun just prepare yourself for some decent climbing but it's worth it.

Yesterday's little bit of rain made the trails perfect 👌🏻 

Not sure how accurate the elevation is on the Garmin it is supposed to be only 1000m over the +-28km.
